This will be a traditional BCP Choral Evensong sung by the Rev'd Gerry Lynch with a choir drawn from churches around the Deanery.
Singers are welcome to join the choir for the evening, which will be directed by the Director of Music at St Mary's, Peter Madeley; if you would like to sing, please turn up to the rehearsal at 4.15 pm sharp.
Music will include Psalm 15 sung to Anglican chant, and settings of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis by the Elizabethan composer Thomas Morley, accompanied by the 210-year-old organ built by celebrated organ builder George Pike England.
